Interviewed for TEACH | Le Prof magazine (September/October 2016) to answer questions about NBTA's POINT program.

The impact and sustainability of Fierce Conversations in New Brunswick. This initiative has now been in place 14 years, over 1500 teachers, administrators, and district personnel have been trained by NBTA, and it continues to be a "sold-out show".

Using the data to inform direction. Often research and data exist in isolation from strategy and budgets. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to make visible the changes, the programs, and the strategies that were implemented as a result of research with which I was involved.

A recent accolade...

On Saturday May 23, 2026 I attended the NBTA Retiring Teachers' Luncheon. I was honored to be have the New Brunswick Teachers' Association award me an Honorary Life Membership. This award is conferred on those deemed worthy by the NBTA Board of Directors for demonstrating exemplary contributions to the NBTA or public education on a provincial or national level.
